Privacy Policy

TMJ Inc. (referred hereinafter to as the “Company”), on performing it is the main business of operation managing Contact centers and Back offices as an agent, recognizes crucial management issues that have a serious bearing upon its existence by handling and protecting multiple personal information starting from the ones entrusted by client companies to it. The Company declares that personal information, as personal numbers and personal information containing numbers entrusted or obtained from client companies (referred hereinafter as “Special Personal Information”) shall be handled with proper care while all employees comply with prescribed privacy policies according to “Benesse Group Information Security and Privacy Policy.”

1.Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The Company shall comply with the laws, policies prescribed by countries and other regulations regarding the proper handling of personal and Special Personal Information.

2.Acquiring Personal Information and Special Personal Information

The Company, giving consideration to its description and scope of the business and scale, with the use of lawful and fair means, shall acquire personal and Special Personal Information upon explaining the purpose of acquisition and obtaining agreement in advance within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes.

3.The use of Personal Information

The Company shall properly manage any acquired personal information, shall use and provide them only within the scope of what is agreed about, and shall not use them for other purposes, as well as disclosing and providing them to third parties. The Company shall take measures to prevent them to be used for other purposes. Personal information entrusted by clients shall be used within the necessary scope to achieve the purpose of the agreement with the client companies.

4.Use of Special Personal Information

The Company shall use the Special Personal Information in its business within the necessary scope stipulated by laws.

5.Provision of Personal Information and Special Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent of the individual, unless required by law.
The Company shall not also provide Special Personal Information to third parties, unless required by law.

6.The Proper Management of Personal Information and Special Personal Information

The Company, in order to ensure the accuracy and safety of such personal information and Special Personal Information, shall enforce safety measures, starting with security measures, to certainly prevent illegal access, loss, destruction, alteration and leakage of personal information and Special Personal Information. In addition, if urged by client companies and end users to further make improvements due to cases of security flaws, the Company shall promptly make correction and exert efforts to prevent such cases from happening again.

7.Continuous Improvement

Through opportunities such as internal audit and management reviews, the Company shall continuously improve personal information protection management system, and always maintain it in good condition.
